You need a big up for being creative. However, do you think we need a British Regurator for your product in this time in here "All our Marquees are regularly inspected and are built and certified under the British Standard and code of design". What a colonial hangover!

Hi Makoye

First of all thank you for taking your time to visit our website and most of all, giving us your thoughts. Given the fact that our country does not build marquees and neither do we have any regulations to control the quality of the ones imported; following the British standards was the best the company can do for now.

What we are looking to introduce in the future is the best training for few of our senior staff to be able to carry out the inspection on our equipment hence cutting running cost for the business; and therefore better prices to our customers.

House of Glamour wants to assure our customers whilst we are implementing these issues, we are still offering the best products and services to them and not only the best of Tanzania but also the best in the global market and I think this is the way forward for us as a company and as pioneers to better our community.

Normally any business; has got a price tag on it .. can you tel how how much it cost per day??
I think that is how internet bussiness is done we normally write starting from ... to .... TSHS..

Big up to you Joyce. I like the idea you came up with. I believe your business will grow since your product and service is in demand. My question is that do you have different setups of the marquee such as a round set up or L setups apart from the horizontal that is shown in your photo gallery. The reason I'm asking this is because myself - for one- would like a different setting other than the horizontal, so I'm trying to see if in the future I would like too use your service at for a specific setting I have in mind such as the round setting, would you be able to provide? Or is this horizontal setting all you have for now? Also I think the idea of putting a price tag would be nice. Last but not least, I hope you also have smaller sizes since it is not always that people hold occassions for 500 hundred people; anything for lets say 50 - 100 people?

Thank you for visiting our site and most of all giving us your thoughts.

I can understand where both of you are coming from in regards to price tags. With the marquee business there are different packages and other factors involved in working out a price, therefore it’s best to contact us with your requirements i.e. proposed date for your event, your chosen grounds/location and number of days required.

We have different prices for bookings between Sunday – Wednesday and Thursday – Saturday, and we also offer discount on bookings on more than one day.

I will be attaching booking questionnaire on our website which customers can complete and email it back to us, and we will be happy to work out a price for you.

Thanks for you visit to our site and top of all your comments

Regarding the marquee set up, the 40ft x 100ft (approx. 500 people), pictures on our gallery, is versatile therefore can be assembled as a half which will make it around 40ft x 50ft, which is almost a square, which usually make a perfect round runway; but obviously I can’t suggest any further as I am not quite clear on the vision you want to accomplish.

I think what would be best is to drop me an email and I’ll liaise with the office and see if we can accommodate.

Regarding smaller marquee, the smallest we can do is the 40ft x 50ft, which approximate takes in about 250 people including chairs and round tables.

Thank you for visiting our site and your enquiry. At the moment we do not offer service for tables and chairs however we affiliate with a company that offers that service. All the bookings will be thought ourselves therefore you would not need to waste too much time dealing with different suppliers hence a spectacular and efficient service from ourselves, which is our main priority.

The average price they offer for tables and chairs are as follows:

Chairs including white chairs covers - 1500 Tshs

Round tables (10 people) including table linen - 7000 Tshs

Let me know your proposed date and your total head count, then I will put together a quote for you which would be more competitive.

I once invested in five military-green tents from a manufacturer in Morogoro way back and commissioned someone to make metal frames for each. They are jst lying at home and I aint touched them since then. In a nutshell, the idea was to do what you do but I must say, ur business is unique and executed smartly. U got urself a niche there.

What I like about this site is, the price are clearly defined.....
advice1: it will be better if you arrange with the owner of chair & table bussiness so that you can have a full package that include both.
the customer will have a choice of either full/half package
this will give customer more choice and hence more customer to you....

advice2: future projects: mobile toilets
